If you have bought a chair and want to use it as soon as possible, you must assemble it. Do not worry; this guide will help you construct your office chair irrespective of size, height, or shape. Sitting uncomfortably on your chair can cause multiple problems, such as slouch and crouching forward.
Most office chairs come with a manual guide that will help you throughout the process. Yet, the guidelines included are complicated, making them difficult to follow. You need to get a 12 mm open-end wrench, collect all office chair components, and assemble it.
The first step is to unbox your office chair and remove the plastic from all its components. Once you begin building the chair, arrange the parts to categorise them easily.
Next, insert the gas cylinder into the chair’s bottom hole. Ensure it fits comfortably and is aligned appropriately.
Connect the seat with the chair’s core mechanism. Now, get screw head bolts and attach the mechanism to the seat.
Turn the chair upside down and carefully slide it onto the mechanism. To provide stability, make sure to tighten all the bolts thoroughly.
Once the seat is attached to the mechanism, check the base of your chair. You will notice a few holes on the sides for the armrests. Get four extra bolts, two for each arm rest, so that you can attach them safely to the chair.
Adjust the chair’s height as per your requirement and pull the lever under the seat. After adjusting the height, lock the seat by releasing the lever.
Hold the five-star base of your chair and casters and apply pressure to connect the casters to the bottom side. Keep doing this until you hear a click, which means the caster has been linked to the chair.
If you have purchased your chair with a headrest or a footrest, connect them to their particular parts. For ideal comfort, position the headrest in the backrest while the footrest can attach to the base of the seat. Follow the instructions:
Ultimately, you need to ensure everything is in place and connected tightly and that you have not missed any bolts. Now, you can conveniently use your newly assembled chair.
